Appalachian Ski Mtn. plans to open for the 25-26 season on Saturday, Nov 29 at 1pm!

Snowmaking operations should begin overnight Wednesday night and continue in earnest as temperatures allow. Current forecasts show excellent snowmaking conditions both Thursday night and Friday night. Focus will be on maximum production during this initial snowmaking period.

Opening at 1pm will allow us to take full advantage of this snowmaking window. The current plan is to open with a majority of slopes, including our Appaljack Terrain Park.

The Appalachian Ice Arena will open at 12 noon on Saturday as well and operate on a regular schedule with 3 sessions daily – 12-2pm, 3-5pm and 7-9pm.

Our Alpine Ski Shop will be open at 8:30am on Saturday.
