Appalachian Ski Mtn. will be cashless for the 2023-24 season!

To make all onsite transactions faster, safer and smoother for guests, Appalachian Ski Mtn. will be cashless starting Opening Day.
Major credit cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay and ASM Gift Cards will be accepted at all point-of-sale locations in the lodge.

Don’t have a card or any apps to pay? No problem! Simply convert any cash you have to a VISA debit card at one of our reverse ATM’s for FREE.

FAQ’s

ASM will only be accepting credit/debit cards and digital forms of payment on-site (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay). This applies to all point-of-sale locations (kiosks, ski shop, gift shop, restaurants, ice arena, parking)

There are NO FEES to convert your cash to a prepaid VISA card and absolutely no fees to use these cards at the ski area. After 92 consecutive days of inactivity, a $3.95 fee is assessed each month. If the card is used regularly, no fees apply.

There are a total of 3 cash-to-card kiosks at the Ski Area, located on both levels of the base lodge as well as the Ice Arena Skatehouse. The 2nd level Lodge Kiosk is located on the left immediately after entering the main airlock entrance doors, beside our RFID Card pickup boxes. The 1st level Lodge Kiosk is located beside the Alpine Ski Shop entrance, immediately to the right.

From $5 to $1000 can be loaded onto a card.

Prepaid cards are not reloadable.

Cards can be used anywhere VISA is accepted in the United States.

The balance on the prepaid card can be checked at a Cash-to-Card kiosk, online at RCbalance.com or by calling the number found on the back of the card.

Yes, guests still have the option of tipping in cash!
