ABOUT US
The Appalachian Snowboard Club (ASC) began in 2012 with the support of the French Swiss Ski College, Appalachian Ski Mtn. and Head Coach Joe Nielander. The program is about having fun, learning new tricks, and forming a rich community of snowboarders with long lasting friendships.
Designed for boarders ages 7-18, this program is affordable, fun, and features training as well as competitions in the High Country region. Practice is on Friday evenings (new!) and Saturday afternoons with 4 optional freestyle competitions on Sundays at Appalachian Ski Mtn. and Beech Mountain Resort. ASC’s certified coaches from the French-Swiss Ski College are professionals and know safety comes first.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Age 7-18
-Heel-side turns on blue slopes
-Toe-side turns on green slopes
(Note this program does not include a ski ticket, a season membership is highly recommended for all participants)
