Appalachian Ski Mtn is excited to offer guests peak season conditions and a majority of slopes open for the Holiday MLK Weekend. Snowmaking has been ongoing as temperatures allow and all slopes have a fresh layer of newly made snow and great coverage.
For the comfort of our guests, from 10am – 10pm we will be making snow on a limited basis on open slopes, compared to the man-made blizzard that we can normally create when running at 100%.
Two terrain parks are currently open, Appal Jam features rails/boxes only and no jumps, so a park pass will not be required to enter.
In addition to Friday and Saturday, this Sunday, Jan 19 is also a Midnight Blast Night – the only late night skiing and riding in the region.
The Appalachian Ice Arena is open on a regular schedule with sessions from 12-2, 2:30-4:30 and 7-9.
The Fresh Friday and K2 Pop This! High Ollie are now scheduled for Friday, January 24.
