12-31-21 – 3:53pm: Due to warm weather and melting snow conditions Orchard Run and the two chairlifts servicing that slope will be closing for the night session as of 4pm today.
Both conveyors and 2 beginner slopes will remain open.

12-29-21: Due to an extended period of warmer weather resulting in limited terrain available, Appalachian Ski Mtn. will be offering Ski Tickets at 50% off normal rates (ski tickets only).
Guests who have already purchased a ski ticket are being emailed a ski area credit of 150% of the discount portion to be used for a future visit, no expiration.
We are currently open for skiing & snowboarding on a regular schedule with 5 slopes. Ice Skating is also open on a regular schedule with 3 sessions daily (Noon-2, 3-5pm and 7-9pm).
Current forecasts call for temperatures in the teens Sunday night, allowing for normal mid-winter conditions.
