Appalachian Ski Mtn. plans to open on a regular schedule for the 2019-20 season on Friday, November 15, weather permitting. This will be the earliest opening date in over a quarter century. A very impressive cold front is scheduled to come through overnight tonight, Monday the 11th. Snowmaking should begin Tuesday morning, and run continuously for as long as possible throughout the week, most likely through Thursday Morning. Riders can expect several slopes to open Friday with excellent coverage, conditions and base depth, as well as a variety of park features. Details on exact slope openings will be posted as soon as they are determined.
As always on opening day, the first 100 guests to the ticket cashier will receive a free ticket!
Remember, Midnight Blast Nights run all season long, so we will be skiing and snowboarding until Midnight on Friday, Saturday and Holiday Nights starting Friday, November 15.
The Alpine Ski Shop will also be open on a regular schedule from our Opening Day forward.
