Appalachian Ski Mtn. is anxiously awaiting the arrival of good snowmaking temperatures for the 2020-21 season. Snowguns are in place, hoses are ready to connect, snowmaking crews are all on standby and as soon as weather allows, snowmaking operations will begin in earnest.
Unfortunately, this means we will not be skiing or snowboarding on our anticipated opening day, Nov. 20. We will be watching the weather constantly and will immediately post updates to Opening Day plans as soon as they become available.
We plan to begin making ice November 17 and the Appalachian Ice Arena is expected to open the day before Thanksgiving, Nov. 25 with three sessions daily at 12-2pm, 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Thanksgiving Day Sessions will be 12-2pm and 3-5pm. Reservations will be required to Skate.
The Main Office will be open and accepting applications daily.
